Escape from the surroundings

Apartment housing is increasingly significant and popular in contemporary urban environments. However, the prevalence of gridded urban development, while effective in conserving land area, often results in the congestion of buildings densely lining the streets. Modern integrated residential complexes, particularly apartments, are frequently situated within a jungle of steel and concrete, contributing to a sense of urban monotony and spatial saturation.

This project seeks to investigate innovative approaches to integrating the design aesthetics and functional living forms of modern apartments and collective housing. The objective is to create a residential typology that transcends the conventional "jungle" of cement and steel, offering an alternative vision that emphasizes both aesthetic quality and livability. By doing so, the project aspires to redefine urban housing as a harmonious balance between form, function, and the surrounding environment.
